Hi. I'm Alicia. I'm crazy about art, design and all things clever. I like to make things, fix things and eat delicious food... emphasis on the delicious food part.

I created this blog to reflect back on life's little moments, and share the joys of my kids with friends and family throughout the country and around the world. With any luck, I will inspire some people along the way.

I'm a 30 something mom of a beautiful 17 year old daughter and a comedic 12 year old son, who are both the light of my life. My best friend turned boyfriend is amazing and keeps me grounded when life gets crazy. My haven is my home, here in Salt Lake, where I am surrounded with people I love and things that make me smile. Life is crazy good.

I thank God everyday for a happy, healthy family & I will make the most of this wonderful adventure called life.

Some food for thought:

-Buy local whenever you can; support our communities.

-Leave this planet in better shape than you found it.

Food, Inc. & Food Matters are two movies that really opened my eyes to how much control we have over our health. I wish everyone in the world could watch them. Please watch them if you ever have the chance. (they are on Netflix)
