Little Moments - Piano

I am thrilled to have my Grandmother's piano in my living room!

Even though she passed away when I was young, I have such fond memories of my Grandma Alice and feel like I have a strong connection with her. I am hoping to gather pictures from various family members playing throughout the years and keep them in a small scrapbook on the top of the piano.

Jackson was equally thrilled and imediatly started practicing his music for the his upcoming Christmas concert at school. Thank you to my Aunt Glory & Uncle Don for sharing it with me. Here's to many more years of beautiful music.

Alice In Wonderland

If 22 years ago, you would have told me there would be an actual restaurant in Riverton, let alone a Sushi restaurant.. I never would have believed you. It's amazing how much it's grown. The field we used to ride our horses through is now a strip mall and the duck pond, where we caught frogs, is now a Super Walmart. Crazy.

My mom treated Ashleigh and myself to an afternoon of local theater. We enjoyed lunch at a new sushi restaurant before heading to Riverton's community center for a local rendition of Alice In Wonderland.

3 generations at the theater. Great afternoon.

Little Moments - Dawn

I've never been a morning person but this sunrise certainly made it worth getting up at the crack of dawn. Absolutely amazing!

Russell's Birthday

Sadly, Russ had to work on his birthday but his co-workers did a great job decorating his desk with balloons, streamers and candy.

We went out for some BBQ for dinner and enjoyed a mellow night at home.

We Skyped with Karmen & Russ (his parents) while he opened cards and gifts.

Then we all sang "Happy Birthday" after which he did blow out all 22 candles with one breath.
