Sunday night, the four of us hiked up Ensign Peak. It was a surprise for the kids since they had been wanting to go for a while. The trail head is in the hills up above the Utah capitol building and it's a wonderful hike, especially once you get to the top and can see the entire valley below. We timed it to hike up at dusk, enjoy the sunset from the top and watch all the valley lights come to life. Beautiful.
