We have had special projects (like making nativity scenes & painting ornaments), Christmas stories (about 20 checked out from the library in addition to our own collection), and little treats (in the kids advent calendars) everyday this month. Baking & decorating cookies, helping the less fortunate, singing carols in the car, etc. have been so fun.
Everyday is a blessing. But the Christmas season truly is special. Even though the Christmas tree and decorations will be put away until next year; I really want that magic to live on all year long.
